\Bill Viola's TV [2018]  is a meditative video work intended to be displayed looped on a screen

a re-imagining of a physical object through a digital ghost.

built from a 2 second video clip recorded during my installation: "server and protect the virus" by Nick Venden

this television (allegedly) belonged to the living great, Bill Viola.  I was financially compensated for assisting another artist in removing this beast from it's previous (3rd) owner.  It was supposedly given to an employee of the studio at the time when it was retired from the living room at home.  I was happy to get paid [as a broke grad student in Long Beach], but I would have done it for the TV alone.
