no mula MOLAA

went and checked out the current exhibits at MOLAA [museum of latin american art] today {free day}. the show "Unresolved Circumstances" featuring videos made by latin american artists was awesome, i hope it travels to phoenix so that all you [6] desert dwellers that read this can check it out. There was an especially good video that used clips from pop culture movies,television, and commercials to create a new [false] history of video art and hollywood film in which both become extinct and latin america eventually gains fame for its bizarre remakes of the blockbuster movies of the past. I forget the name of the artist, though, but i'll try to remember to write it down next week.

Unfortunately the sculpture garden was closed today, maybe next week........
